Jabari Garibaldi

Founder and CEO of Imala Academy, Jabari is a professional footballer from Miami, raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica. He leads the academy with a vision shaped by global experience and a deep commitment to community. His pathway spans Schulz Academy, US Region III, USA and Jamaica youth national teams, Hertha Berlin Academy, Harbour View FC, and multiple clubs across the UK and Europe, including Aalborg BK II. Now based between St. Croix and South Florida, he channels his journey into creating opportunities for young athletes, building a model where football, education, and personal growth move together.

Emmanuel Attoh-Micah

A sports leader with deep roots in West Africa and Denmark, Emmanuel directs Jaman Football Academy in Nigeria and InterRoyals Football Academy in Ghana. For over 25 years, he has focused on developing youth talent, guiding players toward both local and international pathways. His work blends mentorship, structure, and global insight, offering young athletes the support needed to rise within the game and beyond it. Emmanuel’s dedication to community and player development positions him as a driving force in shaping football’s next generation.

Board Vice President

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Karla is the Founder and Principal Art Advisor of The Yeelen Group, where she integrates law, cultural strategy, and creative practice. A graduate of FIU and Tulane Law School, with additional studies at La Sorbonne, she has built an award-winning platform for contemporary art and social narrative. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, VOGUE, The Huffington Post, and BBC International. Karla’s leadership bridges legal expertise and artistic vision, strengthening Imala’s commitment to cultural impact and community advancement.
